A Gold Coast dealer had no idea his lawyer s car was bugged by investigators when they allegedly stopped to score cocaine the day he got parole on a separate drug matter, a court has heard. Criminal lawyer Campbell MacCallum was already the subject of a Crime and Corruption Commission investigation when Craig Mitchell Armstrong faced court in May 2020. Armstrong received a 20-month sentence and took advantage of immediate parole by allegedly organising cocaine within a matter of hours , the Brisbane Supreme Court was told on Monday. Armstrong, 27, pleaded guilty to trafficking, drug possession and possessing tainted property. Premium Content Subscriber only A Sunshine Coast woman has been jailed for six-and-a-half years for running a wholesale methamphetamine racket over two periods, and being involved in a gunpoint robbery where a victim was stabbed. Mountain Creek woman Anikee Doreen Judy Sarre, 25, a former childcare worker of five years, pleaded guilty in Brisbane Supreme Court on Wednesday to a variety of offences. They included two counts of trafficking in a dangerous drug, possessing a commercial quantity of a drug, meth, armed robbery in company, and assault occasioning bodily harm. The court heard Sarre trafficked meth over two occasions, from October 1 to December 2, 2018; and from March 3 to July 18, 2019.
