Subscriber only A woman charged over an alleged illegal prostitution ring along with her partner Matthew James Markcrow, 35, breached her bail immediately after it was granted. Crystal Marie Sawyer, 23, appeared in Brisbane Magistrates Court this morning and pleaded guilty to breaching bail. Sawyer was granted bail on February 5 after being charged with conducting a business of unlawful prostitution. One of her conditions was not to contact certain people in relation to an ongoing prostitution and servitude investigation, the court heard. According to a source, the 32-year-old FIFO worker decided not to attend to avoid coming face-to-face with his ex-bride, as he didn t want to put himself in a position to be involved in a confrontation with Jaimie again.

Teens lose fight for life after horror Wolvi crash
In news that truly rocked the community, two much-loved Gympie region teenagers lost their lives following a horror car crash at Wolvi. Rykah Burr.
On Wednesday it was revealed 18-year-old Rykah Burr died from serious injuries he suffered in the crash, after his family announced his passing on social media.
