Prevea Unveils Vaccination Clinic at Kress Events Center By Casey Nelson Jan 18, 2021 2:28 PM GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Prevea Health and UW-Green Bay are teaming up to provide a COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the Kress Events Center. “Part of our focus is not only to do this at scale, but living to the promises of our oath and doing it right,” said Prevea Health President and CEO, Dr. Ashok Rai. “Today we are making a difference for Wisconsin and this area,” said UW System Interim President Tommy Thompson. “Hopeful with the help of the state of Wisconsin Department of Health and Human Services, we can be their good partners in making sure that all vaccines sites can be set up on all of our campuses so we can serve the people of the state of Wisconsin faster and better.”

Tony Evers will update the state on Wisconsin’s response to COVID-19 starting at 1:30 p.m. Friday after announcing the launch of a mobile coronavirus vaccination program next week to be operated by the Wisconsin National Guard and health officials. He will be joined by Dr. Ashok Rai, the Prevea Health President and CEO, as well.

(WBAY) - The first COVID-19 vaccines have been given to frontline health care workers in Green Bay. Prevea Health President and CEO Dr. Ashok Rai was one of the first to get the Pfizer vaccine Wednesday. He talked about his experience on Action 2 News This Morning. Outside of a sore arm and headache, he’s doing very well. “These are all normal, and also great. Because it means that my body is now developing an immune response to COVID-19, so the fact that I had a sore arm last night is something that I celebrated.”
