Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has witnessed a dip in support in the country, a poll by Datafolha showed.
Currently, the second wave of COVID-19 is wrecking the country's pandemic response. Even with dwindling support, the majority of Brazilians are against his impeachment.
The data from both the polls was released by Datafolha on Friday. And in one of the polls, 40 per cent of respondents rated Bolsonaro's administration as bad or terrible. In December, 32 per cent had claimed the same.

Ever since the coronavirus originated at Wuhan, China in December 2019, the world has come to a shocked inactivity impeding its growth. More than 96 million have been affected worldwide with 2.3 million deaths in last one year. As the world entered another year of pandemic, India, neighbour of China in Asia, has emerged as the saviour for many battered countries.
Soon after the pandemic, Indian scientists have focused on a variety of vaccines and successfully rolled out two of them – Covishield and Covaxin – manufactured by Pune-based serum Institute of India and Hyderabad-based Bharat Biotech.
The leaders have approached International Criminal Court (ICC) against Bolsonaro.

They have accused him of unprecedented environmental damage, killings and persecution. Chief Raoni Metuktire, the leader of the Kayapo people, and Chief Almir Narayamoga Surui, leader of the Paiter Surui tribe, filed the claim at the ICC on Friday.
Since Bolsonaro became president in January 2019, the destruction of the Amazonian forest has accelerated without measure, said the complaint to the ICC, reported by France s Le Monde newspaper on Saturday.

Under considerable pressure to begin a vaccine rollout, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, requesting the Indian government to “expedite” the export of two million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine, ‘Covidshield’, being manufactured at the Serum Institute of India (SII) in Pune, which are expected to be delivered next week.
