BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS â When you think of the talk you may immediately think of a talk that a parent has with their teenager about dating.
There is another talk that is just as important, one that should be had when teens and young adults start driving.
According to TxDOT, in 2019, drivers 15-25 years of age represented nearly 22% of all fatal crashes in Texas, which was a slight increase from the year before.
Those shocking statistics of lives gone too soon are part of a push that prompted a new educational program in the Brazos Valley.

BRYAN, Texas Animal cruelty appears in many different ways, but all actions are against the law. A Bryan woman recently was charged with cruelty to animals, after she allegedly abandoned her dog and it found its way into the hands of the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office. If you can no longer take care of your pet, there are legal choices you can make to make sure your pet is still cared for.
“The worst thing you want to see when you’re volunteering in the shelter is somebody happily walk in where the dog or cat has had a home and they think they re doing us a favor to give us an animal,” said Wienerspiel President Judy LeUnes
Authorities said the person died at the scene. Their identity has not yet been released.

BRYAN, Texas The Brazos County Sheriff s Office confirmed a person has died after an industrial accident at the Axis Pipe & Tube in Bryan.
The accident happened on the 1400 block of Louis E. Mikulin in Bryan Friday morning. The call for help came in just after 10 a.m. and authorities and medics got to the scene about 10 minutes later.
Authorities said by the time they got there, the person had already died. Members of the Brazos County Sheriff s Office arrived on the scene to investigate what happened but the nature of the accident, as well as what led up to the accident have not yet been released.

COLLEGE STATION, TX â On Jan 29. at 10:01 A.M., the Brazos County Sheriff s Office was notified of an industrial accident involving one individual at the Axis Pipeline facility, located, on 1451 Louise E Mikulin in Bryan.
Around 10:12 A.M., deputies arrived on scene, alongside medics to aid said person. However, the individual succumbed to their injuries from the accident.
According to their press release, Brazos County Investigators were called to the scene to investigate the death.
