Two Massachusettspolice officers and a K-9 were shot after responding to a domestic call, according to reports.
The shooting in Braintree occurred Friday around 1 p.m. Multiple neighbors said they heard several gunshots at the time.
One of the officers was taken to Boston Medical Center and the other went to another local hospital for treatment; one officer was seriously injured while the other suffered a gunshot wound to the arm.
Braintree Police apprehended the suspect after pursuing him into nearby woods, a statement on the town’s Facebook page read.

Monday, April 19
12:43 p.m.: One vehicle rear-ended another while in heavy traffic at Route 1 southbound. There was minor damage to both vehicles, and no injuries.
4:42 p.m.: A two-wheel dolly fell off a U-Haul trailer when it struck a pothole at the intersection of Washington and East streets.
5:50 p.m.: A cell phone was found at the base of a tree at Canton Street and Cushing Road. The phone was damaged, which made police believe it had been thrown from a vehicle. The phone was brought to the station for proper disposal.
