A FAMILY’S labour of love, which helped kick-start a yoga business, has been nominated for a national award. The Shed of the Year 2021 competition has seen a Gosfield family’s grand design shortlisted for an award. Geraint Nicholas, 46, and wife Melissa, 47, launched a project to build a yoga cabin in March 2020. Melissa is a yoga instructor and Geraint vowed to build her very own studio in their back garden. More than a year and £12,000 later, Melissa is now looking forward to opening the cabin to teach yoga and pilates classes. Melissa said: “By May 2020 the project was well under way, with plans drawn up, materials sourced and site prepped for the build.
