This time, a 14-year-old was found with a gunshot wound in Bryan. Investigators with the Bryan Police Department said officers responded to the 1100 block of Bittle Lane after reports came in that shots had been heard. When officers got to the scene, they said they found a teen with a non-life threatening gunshot wound and they were taken to the hospital.

Black Lives Matter BCS and members of the Neal Park Potluck organized the protest to shine a light on what they said is racism within the Bryan Police Department. The Black in Bryan 17/24/43 protest was organized to highlight two purposes, according to information released about the protest Friday. The group wanted to mark the 10-year anniversary of the shooting of Johnnie Harris Jr. Harris, who is a Black man, was running from police when he was shot by an on-duty officer. Police searching for man connected to Bryan fatal shooting

Updated: 4:15 PM CDT May 9, 2021 BRYAN, Texas Investigators with the Bryan Police Department have released new information on a fatal shooting that happened early Sunday morning. Authorities have identified O Donald Hill, 26, as the suspect in the killing of another person at the College Main Apartments. Officers were called to the 4300 block of College Main street just before 6:30 a.m. after reports of a shooting. When they got to the scene, they said they found one person dead at the apartment complex. Through talking with witnesses and investigative work, they said they identified Hill as the suspect in the shooting. Hill was not at the scene and he has not been arrested.
