Through special permission from Music Theatre International, Nordhoff High School is able to offer musical show through video on demand for the near future. Theory of Relativity will be available at www.nhsmusic.com for a $15 rental fee, with all proceeds going to support the Nordhoff Music Department.

One of the big ensemble numbers in Nordhoff High School’s film, “The Theory of Relativity,” is called “Great Expectations.” It is about children of immigrants who are grateful, but nonetheless want to pursue their own dreams not the ones laid out for them by prior generations.

Feds Dole Out $2.4B in Loans to Minnesota Businesses The U.S. Small Business Administration has provided more than 42,300 economic injury disaster loans to businesses in the North Star State.
According to the U.S. Small Business Administration’s most recent Covid-19 disaster assistance update, 42,340 economic injury disaster loans (EIDLs) have been approved in Minnesota. That equates to more than $2.4 billion in relief loans.
Specific data related to local industries and loan recipients isn’t yet available.
EIDLs provide economic relief to small businesses and nonprofit organizations that are experiencing a temporary loss in revenue. The program differs from the popular Paycheck Protection Program in that the loans are disbursed directly through the SBA. PPP loans, on the other hand, are disbursed by a lender, such as a bank or credit union.

The North Dakota Stockmen’s Association (NDSA) will host its 2021 Spring Roundups, “Charting the Course,” June 3-4 and 7-10 in Hope, Napoleon, Stanley, Watford City, Beulah and Leonard, N.D. The Spring Roundups serve as the organization’s district meetings and will include socials, suppers, informational programs, NDSA Nominating Committee meetings and local brand inspector meetings.
In each location, the brand inspectors meeting begins at 5 p.m., with the social at 5:30 p.m., the supper at 6:30 p.m. and the program and Nominating Committee meeting following. All times are local.
