BITS Pilani Dubai unveils AED5m student scholarships
DUBAI, March 8, 2021 BITS Pilani Dubai, UAE’s premier engineering institute, has announced merit scholarships worth AED5 million ($1.36 million) for candidates enrolling in the institute’s various programmes for the academic year 2021-2022. The institute is the branch of the internationally reputed Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani, India, and the largest institution exclusively offering engineering programmes in Dubai International Academic City, one of the largest education hub in the MENA region. BITS Pilani is the No.1 private institute of India to find a place among the Top 200 Universities in QS Asia University Rankings 2021. It is also identified as an Institute of Eminence by UGC and Ministry of Education (MoE), Govt. of India. Set up in the year 2000 in Dubai, the institution has since established itself as one of the most sought-after engineering universities in the UAE.

BITS Pilani has announced new merit scholarships worth Dh5 million for candidates enrolling in the institute’s various programmes for the academic year 2021-22.
The institute is the branch of Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani, India. It is the largest institution exclusively offering engineering programmes in Dubai International Academic City, which is one of the largest education hubs in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
The scholarships are divided under various categories and apply to both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Birla Institute of Technology & Science, BITS Pilani has collaborated with AM/NS India to provide sponsored B.Tech Process Engineering degrees to employees. This course will help the employees to take a degree through Work Integrated Learning Programme without the need for a career break.
The higher education course is facilitated through digital infrastructure over three and half years and will help strengthen employees’ technical foundation and build a strong knowledge base, preparing them to work more efficiently through this skill up-gradation opportunity.
