Students will not be accommodated on Campus - University of Ibadan

The management of the University of Ibadan (UI) on Thursday said it will not accommodate any student on campus when it resumes for the 2020/2021 academic session. The clarification follows the information making the rounds on social media that the university has published the allocation of students into their respective hostels and students are expected to make payments. The university clarified in a statement signed by Mr Olatunji Oladejo, Director of Public Communication of the institution in Ibadan on Thursday, that it has not published any list, advising the public to disregard the information on the social media. Vanguard News LAMATA begins use of Cowry Card on buses Feb 1 On Kindly Share This Story: The Management of Lagos State Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) would commence fare collection on bus services offered by Primero Transport Services Ltd., with the use of Lagos State travel known as Cowry Card, on Feb. 1. Managing Director, LAMATA, Mrs Abimbola Akinajo, disclosed this in a statement signed by the Assistant Director, Corporate Communication, Mr Kolawole Ojelabi, on Sunday in Lagos. Akinajo noted that the Cowry Card is currently in use on the Oshodi to Abule Egba Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system. She said the Primero Transport Services Ltd., operator of the Ikorodu to TBS BRT, would commence the use of Cowry Card on Feb. 1.
