The Philadelphia Show art and antiques fair returns in an online format. From April 23–30, sixty outstanding antiques dealers and fine art galleries will offer some of the best in painting, furniture, ceramics, Americana, textiles, and more. Plus, be sure to take in the special exhibition of animals in art, curated by the irrepressible Alexandra Kirtley of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The Anshe Emeth Community Development Corp (AECDC) Central Jersey Diaper Bank is collecting baby clothing sizes newborn-2T, diapers and books.
Donations can be picked up if within Middlesex County. Volunteers from the Rutgers School of Nursing will arrive between 10 a.m. and noon on the day indicated.
At this time, no shoes, equipment, toys, etc. can be collected.
Hopewell Theater’s reopening plans will focus on ensuring the comfort of patrons.
Staff members are collaborating with health officials and industry professionals to create a safe environment for a future reopening.
CONSHOHOCKEN April is National Poetry Month, and Conshohocken Free Library is marking the observance with pop-up poetry stations at 10 spots throughout the borough. CFL staffer Harry Hoy organized the event and came up with the idea as a way âto bring poetry to the local community and encourage the public to engage with their surroundings in a new and thoughtful way.â
âNational Poetry Month isâ¦a celebration of all things poetry during April,â Hoy says. âThis year marks the 25th anniversary (of the event, created by the Academy of American Poets). The Conshohocken Free Library hopes to celebrate this special anniversary with the Conshohocken community and beyond with our Pop-up Poetry displays.â
