Covid-19 cases in Pennsylvania took an upswing in March, though nothing like what was experienced last fall through the beginning of this year.
The Pennsylvania Department of Health on Thursday reported 3,893 additional cases; and the seven-day average of cases in the state ticked up to 4,073.

The latest data from the Pennsylvania Department of Health shows that, of Pennsylvania residents who have received covid-19 shots, more are fully inoculated than those who have received partial doses. Meanwhile, cases, hospitalizations and deaths haven’t seen significant fluctuations one way or the other, but remain on a downward trend.
As of 12 p.m., March 12, 2,276,357 partial coronavirus vaccines and 1,119,003 full vaccines have been received across Pennsylvania, according to the Pa. Department of Health. Totals do not include those administered by the Philadelphia Department of Health.
