Jul 8, 2021 Three Kilos of Coke Found Inside Bus Near Buena Vista Special operations conducted by members of the Belize Police Department in Buena Vista Village, Corozal District, have resulted in the seizure of three parcels of suspected cocaine.  According to a police report, a commuter bus approached a vehicular checkpoint near mile sixty-six on the Phillip Goldson Highway around one o’clock this afternoon. When the officers got onboard they carried out a search of the overhead compartment where they discovered a grey bag behind the driver of the bus. Upon further inspection, three rectangular-shaped parcels wrapped in transparent tape were observed. The content of those packages appears to be a compressed powdery substance believed to be cocaine. The parcels of suspected narcotics were subsequently weighed and amounted to three point four kilograms.
