The Meralco Bolts signed big men Reynel Hugnatan, Jammer Jamito, and Nonoy Baclao to respective one-year extensions on Monday afternoon.
Other terms of the deal were not disclosed, according to a report by the league s official website.
Meralco, fresh off its best-ever finish in the Philippine Cup, will be leaning on the three to bolster their frontcourt in the upcoming 46th PBA season, which is set to tip off this April.
Other key players in the frontcourt include Raymond Almazan and Cliff Hodge.
Hugnatan, the 42-year-old stretch forward, seemingly turned back the clock after a strong performance inside the PBA bubble in Clark, Pampanga. He posted averages of 11.7 points on 43% shooting, 35% from three, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.3 assists. The performance was strong enough to claim a Most Improved Player nomination.
The Gilas Pilipinas Men resumed the training bubble at the Inspire Sports Academy in Calamba ahead of the final window of the FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers. On

Add chef de mission for the Southeast Asian Games to the long list of achievements of Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) legend Ramon Fernandez.
This, after the four-time PBA most valuable player was named by the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) as head of mission of the countryâs delegation for the SEA Games  in Hanoi, Vietnam, later this year.
The decision to appoint Mr. Fernandez, also a current commissioner of the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), was arrived at during the POC Executive Boardâs first meeting for 2021 on Tuesday at the East Ocean Garden Restaurant in Pasay City.
TNT s run to the finals in the PBA bubble saw the rise of Ray Parks, who averaged a team-high in points and was nominated for Best Player of the Conference.
