“We are bracing and anticipating for a possible surge so we are trying to cover all bases. First, we’re looking at our facilities, looking at the ventilation of the hospital, improving the COVID wards,” PGH Spokesperson Dr. Jonas del Rosario said in an interview with CNN Philippines late Friday, July 23.
Del Rosario added that PGH is also upgrading some of its rooms and ordering more equipment to “beef up the supply.”
“We’re making sure that oxygen supply will be enough. We’re making sure also that all of our health workers who haven’t been vaccinated to get the jab,” he added.
