PANTI, GMA News Published April 12, 2021 10:31am Trade Secretary Ramon Lopez has released a list of industries allowed to operate either on limited or full capacity during the implementation of modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) in NCR Plus. The list shows that at least 10 more industries, including dental and rehabilitation clinics , have been allowed to operate under the MECQ at 50% capacity on-site.  Aside from those, other industries allowed to reopen at half capacity on-site include: veterinary clinics capital markets energy sector airline and aircraft maintenance pilots and crew employees of aviation schools

Palace says vaccine doses administered now more than a million; bares industries, activities allowed/not allowed under MECQ

MANILA, April 12   The Philippines has reached the one million mark in terms of total COVID-19 vaccines administered, according to Presidential Spokesperson Secretary Harry Roque Jr in his press briefing today, April 12, 2021. The Palace official said that 1,007,356 were first dose and 132,228 were second dose. Among Priority Group A1 or the medical frontliners, 848,986 already received their first dose, while 116,183 had their second dose, said Secretary Roque. “Sa ASEAN makikita ninyo po bagama’t tayo po ay medyo nahuli sa pag-a-administer ng bakuna, tayo po ngayon ang pangatlo sa pinakamaraming nabakunahan na sa ASEAN. … Ito naman po ay sa kabila ng kakulangan talaga ng mga supply eh pangatlo pa rin po tayo sa ASEAN,” said the Palace spokesperson.

Nakikiusap ako, konting tiis lang po. Dahil kayo ang mas nakakaalam sa trabahong ‘to, kayo ang inaasahan ng bayan sa ating laban sa COVID-19,” Go said in a video message. “Bilang Committee Chair on Health sa Senado, nandidito ako handang sumuporta, makinig at tumulong sa inyo. Bukas ang aming opisina, pwede niyong lapitan any time. Tutulungan namin kayo sa abot ng aming makakaya,” he continued.

100th Malasakit Center inaugurated at RITM

(photo from Facebook) The Malasakit Center is a program of the government that aims to be a one-stop hub for requesting assistance that will hasten the delivery of medical services and give patients access to free medicines and medical intervention. During the inauguration, Department of Health Secretary Francisco T. Duque III said the event is a “critical milestone” in the mission to improve the Filipino people’s access to quality health care. “It is only right that we celebrate the establishment of the 100th Malasakit Center here at RITM, as it proves that our initiatives are working, and that our citizens recognize our efforts to improve our services  for their health and safety,” Duque said in his speech.
