PEZA promises to help businesses rise again amid health crisis

According to her, sales of goods by a PEZA enterprise to other PEZA enterprises may be considered indirect export even if the goods are not directly related to the registered activity of the PEZA enterprise-buyer, provided that the transaction is between two PEZA-registered enterprises.

REIT listings signal market confidence — analysts

Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. (RCBC) Chief Economist Michael L. Ricafort said seeing more companies offer REITs is “a good signal on the further progress and development of the country’s capital market.”

Cavite, Laguna and Batangas have attracted projects, ranging from office spaces to industrial lots and warehouses, with commercial land as something to look out for in the future, said PRIME’s head of research Francis Mina, in a webinar on real estate market opportunities in the area. “It’s now a lot easier to traverse north to south,” said Mr. Mina, speaking from his personal experience. “We’ve also seen cases of municipalities in the region being converted to cities because of high industrial and commercial activity brought about by ecozones.”
