There is no case of the highly contagious Delta variant in Muntinlupa, according to the City Health Office (CHO).
On Sunday, the Department of Health (DOH), University of the Philippines’ Philippine Genome Center (UP-PGC) and University of the Philippines National Institutes of Health reported 55 new cases of the Delta variant in the country bringing the total to 119.

The Delta variant is a strain of SARS-CoV-2, the virus which causes the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
According to Dr. Juancho Bunyi, Muntinlupa City health officer, based on DOH and UP-PGC’s report as of July 25, “no reported Delta variant in Muntinlupa City.”
