Builders Merchants Awards go virtual 23 February, 2021 SHARE After consulting with our sponsors and awards partner, the Builders Merchants Federation, we have made the decision to hold the 2020 Builders’ Merchants Awards as a virtual event on 14th May 2021.
The live ceremony will be hosted by Colin Murray, a well recognised figure on both television and radio. The three-time Sony Gold winner has covered everything from sport, to music, to lifestyle throughout his varied career.
In 2021, Murray can also be seen as an interim presenter on Channel 4’s Countdown, and heard hosting Coronavirus Call-Ins, Colin Murray’s Lock-Inn and sports panel show Fighting Talk on Radio 5 Live.

Rachel Fryers appointed BMF Board Advisor 9 February, 2021 Rachel Fryers The Builders Merchants Federation has appointed Rachel Fryers, Director of Merritt & Fryers in Skipton, as a Board Advisor with effect from 1 April 2021.
Before taking her position in the family firm, Fryers spent almost 20 years working as a landscape architect, gaining a breadth of experience within large multidisciplinary infrastructure and construction teams, delivering a wide range of projects from new towns to schools, hospitals and prisons.
