A 60-year-old Clay County woman is feeling quite supreme these days as the Florida Lottery announced its latest $1 million winner.
Mary Lancaster Johns of Middleburg purchased her $30 Billion Dollar Gold Rush Supreme scratch-off ticket from the BP gas station at 2449 Blanding Blvd., the Lottery announced Monday. She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $880,000.
The Billion Dollar Gold Rush Supreme game launched in February and features four top prizes of $15 million and 24 prizes of $1 million. The $15 million is the largest for a scratch-off offered by the Lottery, one of which has already been claimed. Only three of the $1 million have been spoken for, according to the Lottery website at flalottery.com.
