The four members of the Bloods sentenced are: Talasha “First Lady Red” Willis 31 of Flint, sentenced to 100 months in federal prison Kimberly “Boss Lady Red” Perryman, 34 of Mt. Morris, sentenced to 80 months in federal prison Alina “Mimi Red” White, 23 of Flint, sentenced to 36 months in federal prison  Doniel “50” Heard, 38 of Canton, sentenced to 240 months in federal prison According to a release from the US Attorney s Office, Heard, Willis, Perryman, and White appeared before United States District Judge Linda V. Parker and pleaded guilty to assault with a dangerous weapon in aid of racketeering. Additionally, Willis pleaded guilty to interference with commerce by robbery.

Things get going starting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, with the parade which will start  at Central Elementary School, located at 525 Coutant Street. Then activities will continue each day, and night, through Sunday in Flushing Riverview Park. This years activities, which are free to all, include live music,balloon and clown show Empty Canvas painting interaction, a safety clinic, a book giveaway and so much more. Of course there will be the excited carnival rides, presented by the Skerbeck Family Carnival. You will need tickets or an armband for the rides. Cherry Street will feature the Marketplace vendors.

Man Pretending To Work For Land Bank Is Running Around Flint Charging People To Cut Grass The Genesee County land bank says that there is a man pretending to work for the city and is going around Flint charging people to cut their grass. My question is, Why? You don t need to pretend to work for the city to cut grass. That s probably the dumbest hustle I ve heard in a while. Get our free mobile app   The Genesee County Land Bank says a person is going around claiming they are a representative from the Flint Land Bank.   According to the GCLBA, this person is cutting lawns and telling residents they have to pay $20, if they don t pay then they will be turned over to the county and a $20 fee will be added to their property taxes.

Genesee County Landbank Warns Residents of A Mowing Scam The Genesee County Landbank is warning Flint residents about a scammer out mowing lawns in the area. The reports started to come in early this week about a guy showing up to houses in Flint with a wagon full of tools and a lawn mower. The man reportedly starts to mow the lawn, then tells the property owner that he is from the land bank, and that they owe him $20. If the owner refuses to pay, the man tells them that the fee will be added to their taxes with penalties.
