Samurai sword killer Blake Davis could spend less than three years in jail after being sentenced over the death of an aspiring rapper on a leafy Sydney street.
He was found not guilty of murdering Jett McKee with a samurai sword, but guilty of his manslaughter.
Davis girlfriend Hannah Quinn, 26, was convicted of being an accessory after the fact to Mr McKee s manslaughter.
New South Wales Supreme Court Justice Natalie Adams on Tuesday gave Davis, 31, a maximum prison sentence of five years and three months over Mr McKee s death.
He will be eligible for parole after serving two years and nine months in jail.

According to News.com, the NSW Supreme Court heard on Tuesday that McKee entered Davis’ flat with a pistol and a balaclava, demanding money.
