Stating the liquor ban is a good initiative by Nitish Kumar, Sharma said the thinking was right and, hence, the Congress party appreciated it, but the implementation is not right . Despite the stringent law that pertains to liquor ban, trade and smuggling of liquor keeps flourishing in Bihar. At present, mafias are offering home delivery to consumers even at a higher price. As the implementation is not right practically, it allows corruption to take place in the police and excise department. and youth are falling into the illegal business due to unemployment, Sharma said.
