ATLANTA (AP) Austin Meadows and the Tampa Bay Rays keep finding ways to rally for wins.
Meadows singled in the 10th inning to score Brett Phillips from second base with the tiebreaking run, and the Rays beat the Atlanta Braves 7-6 on Friday night.
After trailing 6-4, the Rays pulled even in the eighth. Meadows, an Atlanta native, had an RBI single during the two-run rally.

Austin Meadows tiebreaking, two-out single in the 10th lifted the Tampa Bay Rays to their first extra-innings win in nearly two months, a 7-6 victory over the host Atlanta Braves on Friday.
Hitless in three career at-bats against reliever Jesse Chavez (0-2), Meadows (2-for-4, three RBIs) lined a 3-1 pitch to right to score Brett Phillips, who narrowly beat the throw home.
Pete Fairbanks tossed a perfect 10th for his fourth save, retiring newly acquired Joc Pederson called on to pinch hit on a grounder to shortstop Wander Franco to end the game, in relief of Matt Wisler (2-3).

Wil Myers hit two homers and drove in seven runs, and Jake Cronenworth hit for the third cycle in franchise history Friday night as the visiting San Diego Padres scored a franchise-record 24 runs in a 24-8 rout of the Washington Nationals.
Nine different Padres drove in runs, with six having at least two RBIs.
Myers fourth career grand slam capped a seven-run Padres second after the score was tied 3-3 after one inning. The Padres scored in eight of the nine innings, including six runs in the sixth and four in the eighth, and finished with 22 hits.
