Suspects sought following armed robbery on Aylmer Street North

Peterborough Police are searching for two potential suspects after an armed home robbery. Last night around 11:15, Peterborough Police were called to an address on Aylmer Street North after the homeowner reported an unknown man and woman entered his home, threatened him with a knife and left with his wallet, money and cigarettes. The male suspect is described as: -Slim build, 5’10 about 180lbs -Wearing a hoodie, grey pants, and a mask The female suspect is described as: -Slim build, 5’8 The victim was taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre as a precaution. Domestic incident leads to charges for 37-year-old man

A 37-year-old Peterborough man is facing numerous charges after a domestic incident. Around 9:45 p.m., police say the accused had allegedly broken a window to get into a home, and then threatened a male and a female victim with a knife and engaged in a physical altercation with the male victim. He has been charged with several charges including: break and enter and assault with a weapon. The victims received minor injuries and were treated and released from Peterborough Regional Health Centre. In order to protect the identity of the victims in this domestic incident the name of the accused will not be released.
