First Shipment of Oil Products from Belarus Arrives at Petersburg Oil Terminal Petersburg Oil Terminal has received the first shipment of oil products from Belarus. 3.6 thousand tons of fuel oil was delivered by rail. The delivery follows the agreement signed between the Government of Russia and that of Belarus providing for shipping Belarussian oil products via sea terminals in Russia. The agreement envisages handling in Russian ports 3.5 mn tons of Belarussian oil products in 2021, 3.2 mn tons in 2022, and 3.1 mn tons in 2023. Petersburg Oil Terminal is to handle 680 thousand tons and 130 thousand tons of mix oils in 2021.

Belarus starts delivering oil products to Russian seaports Photo courtesy of TASS MINSK, 9 March (BelTA) – Belarus has started delivering its oil products to Russian seaports, BelTA learned from the website of the Russian Ministry of Transport. “On 5 March, more than 5,000 tonnes of Belarusian gasoline were shipped in several trains for transshipment at the terminal of Portenergo, the seaport of Ust-Luga. The first of these trains arrived in the Russian Federation at 9am on 6 March. It is expected to arrive at the Portenergo terminal on 9 March. Mozyr Refinery was the shipper,” the statement reads. The Russian Ministry of Transport also said that on 6 March a batch of fuel oil of the total volume of 3,600 tonnes was shipped from the Mozyr oil refinery to Petersburg Oil Terminal, the sea port of St. Petersburg.
