More people are traveling than expected Those in the airline industry said that travel has picked back up quickly as COVID-19 vaccinations have rolled out. “Travel has come back faster than anticipated,” Brent Bowen, founder of National Airline Quality Rating said. Bowen said that as travel picks up, airlines have to work to keep up but many have struggled with having enough staff.

The one month precipitation outlook from the Climate Prediction Center now gives Phoenix a ~42% chance of above-normal precipitation for the month of July, the weather service tweeted.  The normal precipitation for the month of July in Phoenix is 0.91 inches, according to the weather service.  Jaret Rogers, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Phoenix, said the southern parts of the state, including Phoenix and Tucson, have the highest probabilities for the above-normal rainfall.
