Adoption fees waived for all dogs, cats four months or older at PACC

Thanks to a new adoption promotion at the Pima Animal Care Center, adoption fees will be waved for all pets who are 4-months-old and older.
According to PACC, this promotions runs from Monday through April 30. Summertime is a busy time at PACC,” said Monica Dangler, Interim Director of Animal Services. “We are seeing an increase in strays, kittens, and pets in need of medical care for injuries and illnesses. Our shelter starts to get busy in the spring time, and it doesn’t slow down until the fall, so we encourage anyone thinking of adopting a pet to take advantage of this great promotion.”

PHOENIX, AZ Arizona Gives Day 2021 shattered the organization s record for donations, raising more than $7 million for local nonprofits.
The 24-hour fundraising event, which was held on April 6, raised $7.1 million in total, which exceeds last year s total by more than $1 million, the organization said.
This year s festivities saw more than 40,000 donations, supporting 982 nonprofit organizations in the state of Arizona, with more than 1,500 donors pledging 61.400 volunteer hours as well during the event.

The average amount raised per organization in 2021 was $7,218 with an average donation of $210.53, the event s organizers said.

TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - Pets 4 months or older will have a $0 adoption fee, thanks to a new adoption promotion at Pima Animal Care Center.
The $20 licensing fee per adopted dog that cannot be waived. Kittens and puppies will still cost $50 each. The sale starts April 19 and continues through April 30.
