7/6/2021 BUENOS AIRES, July 6 (Reuters) - Argentine farmers have sold 23.7 million tonnes of soybeans from the 2020/21 season, after transactions were registered over the last week for 788,800 tonnes, the Agriculture Ministry said on Tuesday in a report with data through June 30. Argentine soybean sales have been slower than during the previous year, when 26.3 million tonnes of the oilseed had been sold by this point in the season, according to official data. Argentina s 2020/21 soy harvest is expected at 43.5 million tonnes, according to the Buenos Aires Grains Exchange, versus an estimated 49 million tonnes in the 2019/20 crop year.
