Driver to face court after driving at off-duty police officer – Tempe
A man will face court today after allegedly driving at an off-duty police officer in Sydney’s Inner West yesterday.
Just before 5.30pm (Tuesday 27 April 2021), a woman was driving along Richardson Crescent, Tempe, when she heard a car horn being sounded repeatedly and saw a Subaru Forrester behind her allegedly driving aggressively.
A short time later, the SUV overtook the woman’s 2021 Audi stationwagon on Warren Road, allegedly travelling on the wrong side of the road for some distance.
At the intersection of Warren and Illawarra Road the SUV stopped, blocking the woman from continuing.

Swimming great Scott Miller and three members of his alleged $2.2million meth syndicate are all facing the potential of spending the rest of their lives in jail.
A fourth member of the alleged ring has been hit with fresh charges which carry the maximum penalty available under New South Wales law.
Luke Mathew Peake was originally charged only with possessing meth but has now been accused of supplying a large commercial quantity of drugs.
He has also been charged with participating in a criminal group allegedly headed by Miller.
