Several inches of light, fluffy snow fell across Rhode Island and southern New England Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday morning, making for slippery commutes statewide. Snow totals were pretty close to the National Weather Service s estimates, which were raised slightly Tuesday afternoon.
Snow accumulation totals from the National Weather Service are listed below, by county. All measurements are in inches and were recorded Wednesday, unless otherwise noted. Some ares have more than one measurement, which represents varying snowfall amounts in the community.
