A couple who have lost six family members in three days in India amid the country s worsening Covid crisis say they feel helpless .
Afshan Haque from Staffordshire said she and her husband, Shamim, are trying to help relatives but fear the situation there is out of control.
She said two extended family members died in one day and they are shocked at the extent of the crisis.
Mrs Haque, from Acton Trussell, near Stafford, said the couple come from a family of doctors and have been signposting family members towards help and appealing for bed availability on social media.

Emergency services attended reports of crash between two cars and a pick-up truck, on the A454 Bridgnorth to Wolverhampton road, about two miles out of Bridgnorth, at Chempshill.
The air ambulance was sent from Cosford along with paramedics and teams from the fire service as the driver of one of the cars, a woman, had to be taken to New Cross Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A boy was also in the car with her, but was unhurt.
The driver of the other car was assessed and discharged with minor injuries, and the driver of the pick-up truck did not wish to be assessed by paramedics.
