By day, the field of leeks looks like any other. But, as the sun sets, blue and red light, mixed with invisible ultraviolet (UV) radiation, transforms the scene into a multicoloured landscape. This LED light show is not just for effect. For a couple of hours every evening the lights are shone across the 20,000sq metre field in Lelystad in the Netherlands in a bid to make the leeks grow better. In a light installation that brings art and science.

OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE A&R Factory
New Zealand-based artist, Kyriakos Gabriel Varnava’s first ballad, ‘Tonight’, hits the airwaves on March 6th. His fourth release introduces a softer side to his songwriting which is discernibly free from fear when it comes to wearing his heart on his sleeve to help others grieve and come to terms with loss.
The delicate yet resounding single, produced by Ant Tarrant, unravels through accordant layers of art-rock, vulnerability and alt-folk, inviting listeners into a tenderly resonant mindset.
With Radiohead-style pensive keys, intimate indie guitars which ring with apathy and unapologetically romantic vocals, Tonight efficaciously captures the hopelessness which stays in the wake of broken promises.
