For the first experiment, researchers from the firm’s Beauty Research and Creation Center (BRCC) conducted the experiment on a model with ‘skin’ that turns purple when it comes into contact with ultraviolet (UV) rays.

Two Arrowtown jewellers have a warning for the ‘‘owners’’ of internet domain names: beware the prowling bots.
Brendon ‘Buzz’ Jaine obtained his bjaine.com domain name 15 years ago and then, during lockdown last year, began using it to market his work.
Unfortunately this year, due to a slip-up in the payment pipeline, a $56.38 invoice went unpaid.
As a result, an automated system somewhere in the world snapped up his domain name
leaving him with two choices buy it back or start from scratch with a new one.
He chose the latter and can now be found at bjaine.nz
