The band is shrouded with a little mystery as the keyboard and saxophone player, Stingy Hooligan, is always wearing a full face mask and has never revealed his face. In the last 18 months the group has consistently sold out nationwide tours and has had slots at nearly every major Kiwi festival including Rhythm and Vines, Bay Dreams and Electric Avenue, with a full summer ahead of them. They ve even toured in Australia, opening for Sticky Fingers and The Tesky Brothers. Their 13-show American tour, scheduled for May, was postponed due to Covid-19. After lockdown the band had a staycation in Kaikōura to write new music.
