Soaked singer Benee stoked to perform alongside top NZ orchestras

Kevin Stent/Stuff Kiwi psyche-pop sensation Benee performs at a packed Shed 6 in Wellington last year. She admits she is a little bit nervous about working with the orchestras. Stella Bennett, known to her fans as Benee, admitted to being a little nervous about the chance to reimagine her award-winning songs with full orchestral backing. “It’s going to be a little bit scary. I have no idea how it’ll go, but hopefully great,” she said. The experience would take Benee and her band out of their comfort zone, but the singer was ready to dive in headfirst. “It’ll be really different from anything I’ve ever done.
