The Government’s excruciatingly slow and chaotic
vaccine rollout shows it has no idea how to get the
lifesaving vaccine to New Zealanders, Leader of the
Opposition Judith Collins says.
“And this
weekend’s mass vaccination event is indicative of just how
much of a debacle the Government’s rollout has
been.
“Their bright idea was to bus vulnerable
people in South Auckland to the events centre in Manukau to
get the jab.
“It’s no surprise the initial take up

National’s highly successful Meth Action Plan – and its
outright refusal to accept that New Zealand has a gang
problem – is contributing to a surge in gang membership,
meth use and misery in New Zealand’s most deprived

Figures released to National show, that since March,
Police Officers are continuing to leave the force while gang
numbers explode, National’s Police spokesperson Simeon
Brown says.
“From March to June 2021, Constabulary
Police numbers have dropped from 10,244 to 10,117, a drop of
127, meanwhile over the same period gang numbers have been
increasing at a rate of one new gang member per
day.
“The increase in gang numbers has been met with
great concern by the New Zealand public, but few know that
police numbers have gone in the opposite direction at the
same time; a deeply concerning trend.
