Gladys Berejiklian has been blindsided by Annastacia Palaszczuk s decision to reopen the Queensland border to Greater Sydney. A shocked New South Wales Premier had no idea her Queensland counterpart had announced plans on Thursday to welcome back Sydneysiders from February 1 until she did a radio interview. Christmas holiday plans were ruined when the Sunshine state closed its border to 35 local government areas in Sydney, Wollongong and the Blue Mountains on December 20 following a fresh coronavirus outbreak. Ms Berejiklian found out the good news she s been anxiously waiting for second-hand on air from 2GB breakfast host Ben Fordham.
