A guest at one of New Brunswick's designated quarantine hotels says he's worried for his health after being told there were COVID-19 cases at the hotel during the time he and his husband have been staying there with their two dogs.

A much-loved tradition at an uptown Saint John taproom has been kiboshed, drawing disappointment from local residents.

announced Friday that dogs and other pets are no longer allowed inside its Canterbury Street location.
Officials said the change, which does not apply to service animals, stemmed from a customer complaint made to Public Health.
“We have been told by officials at NB Public Health that animals are no longer allowed inside spaces ‘where food is consumed, ” Picaroons owner Sean Dunbar wrote in a post on the Picaroons Brewing Company Facebook page.
