Current Councilor Gabe Vasquez recently stated that he would not be seeking reelection.  Here s a statement from Graham s campaign: Graham, who earned her Master’s and Ph.D. degrees from NMSU, has been a Las Cruces resident since late 2000. She and her husband, a City of Las Cruces firefighter, have lived in District 3 since early 2006. “As a long-time neighbor in District 3, I have been moved to see how this area’s history and people contribute so much to making Las Cruces the exceptional city it is. I’m excited for the opportunity to work with the district’s residents to see that their voices continue to be an important part of our city’s decision-making.”
