FLOYD The Floyd School Board didn t change its mind about implementing state-mandated COVID-19 mandates Monday night, and it doesn t plan on going anywhere after declining to follow them. With an audience encouraging them to hold firm, board members declined to reverse their July 26 votes to make face coverings, social distancing and other COVID protocols optional at Floyd Municipal Schools.
