WASHINGTON (AP) The Supreme Court declined Monday to take up the case of former New York Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver, who is serving a 6 1/2-year prison sentence after being convicted in a corruption case.
Bannon, 67, helped Trump win the 2016 election. In August he pleaded not guilty to charges that he defrauded donors to We Build the Wall, an online fundraising campaign that raised $25 million.
The US President has granted pardons to 73 individuals and commuted the sentences of an additional 70, but not Julian Assange, Trump's family members or himself.
The sources confirmed a New York Times report that the list of pardons and commutations is expected to include former New York Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver, 76, who was convicted of corruption charges in 2015.
