6 ex-staffers accused of sex crimes against children at New Hampshire youth detention center Nelson Oliveira
Six former employees at a New Hampshire youth detention center have been charged with sexually abusing 11 children in a horrific ordeal that lasted about a decade, authorities said Wednesday.
The alleged crimes happened between 1994 and 2005 at the Sununu Youth Services Center, a state-run Manchester facility formerly known the Youth Development Center. The arrests come nearly two years after two of the suspects were charged with raping a teenage boy more than 80 times in the 1990s, an allegation that was later dropped in an effort to expand the investigation.
