In response to a Saturday shooting in the heart of New York City in broad daylight, which left two women and a child injured, New York City Republican mayoral candidate Fernando Mateo blamed “radical left Democrats” for the uptick in crime and offered a cash reward for information regarding the perpetrator’s whereabouts.
In an exclusive statement made to Breitbart News on Monday, Mateo called for New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio’s (D) dismissal.
“De Blasio Must Go!” the statement began, before calling for action.
“While we hope for the best outcome of the women and child shot in Times Square, we must take action now to silence the guns ravaging New York City,” said Mateo.

NEW YORK - At least one person has been hospitalized with COVID-19 after attending a local New York City Republican club’s holiday party that went viral online after a video showed attendees celebrating indoors without masks.
Video of the Dec. 9 event, hosted by the Whitestone Republican Club in Queens, received more than 4 million views after being shared online. The video shows several maskless attendees dancing in a conga line to the Bee Gees’ You Should Be Dancing at the indoor restaurant, with a man leading the line while waving a flag that appears to read, Trump 2020.

Several individuals who took part in a local New York City Republican club s Christmas party have tested positive for the coronavirus after a video surfaced showing attendees celebrating indoors without masks, Queens Daily Eagle reports.
Three cases have been identified by the
Eagle, including a man, James Trent, who has since been hospitalized.
The video of the party, hosted by the Whitestone Republican Club on Dec. 9. in Queens, N.Y., has gained 3.7 million views since being shared last week. It shows attendees dancing in a conga line, with a man waving a flag that reads, Trump 2020. The video features approximately 40 to 50 people.
