Good Wednesday morning. Tips, comments, recipes? Reach out, sign up and happy belated birthday to my dad (hey, dad!) From the courts : “New York Attorney General Letitia James s investigation into the Trump Organization is now considered a criminal matter, James s office said Tuesday night, noting that officials with the former president s company were recently apprised of the development,” our Shayna Jacobs and David Fahrenthold report. We have informed the Trump Organization that our investigation into the company is no longer purely civil in nature, said Fabien Levy, a spokesperson for the attorney general s office.
“As far as I know, there’s never been a PPO that was deployed to protect postal facilities based on intelligence gleaned from iCOP,” Mr. Albergo said. “I mean, I don’t know what they could be using that for. To my eyes, it’s certainly not to protect the postal service.
“It’s a federal law enforcement agency that’s completely out of control, if you ask me.”
Congressional Republicans have sought information about what iCOP is doing but have received few answers. Chief Postal Inspector Gary R. Barksdale privately briefed lawmakers on the program last month. He said the agency expanded iCOP’s function last year as threats to Postal Service leadership, employees and facilities increased, according to Rep. James Comer, the top-ranking Republican on the House Oversight and Reform Committee.
The claim: Image shows Rudy Giuliani s neighbors watching FBI raid
An image shared on Facebook claims neighbors stood by and watched as the FBI raided former President Donald Trump s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani on April 28.
The image, shared the same day, shows a smiling woman in a fur coat holding a glass of wine. Rudy Giuliani s neighbors watching the FBI raid, says the caption.
FBI agents raided Giuliani s Manhattan apartment and offices on April 28 amid an investigation of his business dealings in Ukraine. The investigation has been ongoing since early 2019.
Agents arrived at Giuliani s home at 6 a.m. and seized up to eight personal electronic devices, Giuliani told Fox News April 29.

On Friday, Sept. 25, 2020, James recommended the New York Police Department get out of the business of routine traffic enforcement, a radical change that she said would prevent encounters like one the year before in the Bronx borough of New York that escalated quickly and ended with an officer fatally shooting a motorist.
