ALBANY, N.Y. (WKBW) â The New York State Restaurant Association is calling on the state to push back its 10 p.m. curfew for indoor dining at restaurants to midnight.
âWe all know about the dire financial crisis facing the restaurant industry. And we all agree that we need to reopen the economy or there will be nothing left to reopen. Weâre urging the state to take some small steps in that direction. Any help will go a long way toward the long-term survival of so many of our favorite restaurants,â said Melissa Fleischut, president and CEO of NYSRA.
Erie County will allow all restaurants to follow yellow zone guidelines

BUFFALO, N.Y. Following a judge s ruling that WNY restaurant owners who filed a lawsuit against the state would be able to reopen under Yellow Zone restrictions; Erie County says they will apply the yellow zone guidelines to all Erie County restaurants.
That means all restaurants in Erie County will be able to offer indoor dining at 50% capacity and no more than four people per table. Restaurants will still have to abide by the 10 p.m. closing time.
