TARRYTOWN, NY Vendors are being sought for the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge s bike/walking path for the next two years.
The New York State Thruway Authority announced Tuesday it is inviting qualified local vendors to provide high-quality, diverse menu items, including non-alcoholic beverages over the course of two years at the path s Westchester and Rockland landings, and bicycle rentals at the Westchester Landing.
Thruway Authority Executive Director Matthew J. Driscoll said the Cuomo bridge path has proved to be a tourism magnet and has drawn more than 250,000 people in less than six months.

I-90 to be closed between Exit 52 and Exit 53 in both directions overnight Monday into Tuesday

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) â The New York State Thruway Authority announced that I-90 between Exit 52 (William Street) and Exit 53 (Buffalo - I-190) will be closed overnight Monday into Tuesday in both directions.
The Thruway Authority says I-90 will begin with single-lane closures at 8 p.m. on December 21st in both directions, then full lane closures from midnight to 3 a.m. on Tuesday.
Travelers will experience the following detours
I-90 westbound traffic must exit at exit 52A (William Street) to Union Road (Route 277).
Steady snowfall continues in Orange County

Orange County saw steady snowfall for several hours Wednesday evening into Wednesday night.
Montgomery is expected to get about 2 feet of snow by the time the snowflakes die down.
Orange County Emergency Services warned the community about of the severity of the storm.
It said power outages are possible and urged residents to stay home.
The New York State Thruway Authority announced a speed reduction of 45 mph from New Paltz to New York City.
