A whole summer of events has been announced at the Tatton Park Pop Up Festival
If your family holiday has been blown to 2022, and you can’t find a staycation cottage for love nor money and have been wondering what to do now you’re actually allowed to socialise again – Tatton Park Pop-Up Festival could be the answer.
Over 10 weeks this summer, Tatton Park will play host to more than 50 socially-distanced events, from family days to live music, and the organiser say they are prepared for all Covid-related eventualities.
AN outdoor music event is returning to Scampston Hall next year following its successful debut. Sounds in the Grounds took place in the grounds of the stately home near Malton in the summer and will be back for three days next year from June 11-13. Back by popular demand, The New York Brass Band will get the party started as the support act to each concert, which will feature either The Definitive Rat Pack, One Night of Tina or Killer Queen, Concert-goers will have their own designated picnic patch - for two, four or six people - which will be socially-distanced from others, but close enough to share the fun.
Footage shows the musicians playing the festive favourite Fairytale of New York in front of homes.
The unidentified woman had asked the local band to visit and raise money for a food bank.
Members of the Yorkshire-based New York Brass Band entertained residents in the minster city with a socially distanced performance
During the performance the band played festive hits including Fairytale of New York
As well as entertaining people in the city, the band raised £150 for a local food bank
Joe, who filmed the footage, said: My sister hired a band to play for the whole neighbourhood. She hired them to cheer up the neighbourhood and also raise some money for the local food bank - they made over £150!
