PATERSON A 20-year-old Paterson woman, Nyrah Barner Curry, left home for a party at a hotel in Brooklyn on Feb. 11 and has yet to return, according to family members and law enforcement officials. The New Jersey State Police Missing Persons Unit has joined the probe already being conducted by the Paterson, New York City and New York Transit police, authorities said. “We’re trying to get eyes on her, to make sure she’s safe,” said Paterson Public Safety Director Jerry Speziale. But Curry’s family members and organizers of Paterson’s Black Lives Matter group said they don’t think authorities are workers hard enough or fast enough.
